Project management
Keeping seven partners in five countries working to the same plan, budget and standard.
Objectives
- Coordinate the consortium and keep activities aligned with the plan and timeline
- Track progress, quality and budget across all partners
- Identify and manage risks before they become delays
- Keep the work accessible, inclusive and green by design
What happens
Monitoring rests on three things: progress tracking against the work plan, quality assurance on every deliverable, and outcome evaluation. Work package activity leaders report monthly, key deliverables go through quarterly peer review, and the steering committee — department-level representatives from every partner — receives a full status report twice a year.
Each partner has a fixed budget for its own responsibilities, reviewed quarterly, and every partner adds 30 per cent in kind, which raises the total project value from €400,000 to €520,000.
Accessibility is designed in rather than retrofitted: activities follow Universal Design for Learning principles, materials are offered in several languages, and prototypes are tested with diverse user groups. Three partners bring specific experience here — Ensinus, CEES and the Pajulahti campus, which is a Paralympic training centre.
